2.013 SPANISH ENTREPRENEURSHIP STATUS:

The Foundation Iniciador has just published the report called Observatorio del clima emprendedor 2.013 ( http://iniciador.com/ )

This organization conducts an annual survey of entrepreneurship status in Spain. The main conclusions of this new report are:
  • The entrepreneur’s average age in Spain is 38 years.
  • In general, it is not the first time that they start a business
  • The decision to start a business is market by the lack of labour market opportunities rather than vocational.
  • The entrepreneur’s goal is not to make a lot of many if no full fill themselves and self-realization and refocus professional career
  • Self-financing is the most important way to start a business but increase the role of the Business Angels. Founding keep being the most important trouble for starting an enterprise.
  • Spain is frowned upon to start a business, in entrepreneurs’ opinion.
  • Only four entrepreneurs of ten know the new Spanish Entrepreneurship Law and they don’t trust in its capacity for boosting the entrepreneurship.
  • Entrepreneurs ask tax mesures like: Not paying the IVA in invoices without charge
  • Entrepreneurs consider that despite the difficulties it’s better undertake in order to be your own boss.


The aim of the ENTANGLE’s consortium is to help entrepreneurs and give teachers the appropriate tools and skills to guide the adventure of undertaking a business.
